2014’s Wimbledon Tournament

Wimbledon gets underway on Monday 23rd June as the world’s top players head to the famous grass courts of the All England Club for the third Grand Slam of the year

The two week prestigious event of the summer - 2014’s Wimbledon Tournament runs from June 23rd – July 6th and will be serving up a busy schedule of games starting with the Men’s and Women’s singles first round.

Last year’s tournament saw Andy Murray crowned Champion in the final with him beating Novak Djokovic and as a result creating a triumphant victory for Britain after their 77 year wait for a Men’s Champion. Novak may have been seeded No.1 in 2014, but will seven time champion Roger Federer be on point to beat his record and win at 4/1 as Murray drops behind Djokovic and Nadal at 3rd seed.

2013’s Ladies Championships saw Marion Bartoli win her first ever Grand Slam defeating Germany’s Sabine Lisicki at 6-1, 6-4 in an intense final. With British No.1 contender Heather Watson on form with a new game plan after being advanced to the Quarter Finals of the Aegon International, and Ana Ivanovic climbing to 11th position in the rankings after winning her 3rd title of the season at Aegon Class, it’s set to be a challenge to the top!

Will Serena Williams win her 6th Wimbledon title? With odds at 6/5 to win, Serena could claim the title once again.
